DCS 24

The DCS 24 from Samsung has been designed to make communications as simple as possible for even the smallest of offices, delivering the advanced features and functionality of a large telephony system at a fraction of the cost.

Up to 16 extensions are available on the DCS 24, with ISDN connectivity for faster, smoother access to on-line services such as email, the Internet and features such as Caller ID display (CLI) and direct dialling (DDI) to an individual extension.

Automatic Call Distribution - Sophisticated Call Handling

The DCS 24 provides a sophisticated call handling facility to optimise its services to callers. When a group receives a call, the DCS 24 will direct the call to the first available person in that group. If no operator is available to answer the call, the system will play a message which reassures the caller that assistance will be provided as soon as possible. System flexibility enables group supervisors to monitor the status of all incoming calls, and to bring the staff in and out of a group as necessary.

The DCS Daughter Cards - Easily Add Handsets, Fax Machines or Modems

You can add a fax machine, a modem or an additional handset - even a cordless type - to an existing DCS 24 without a problem. With the optional DCS Daughter Card, the additional devices operate completely independently. The fax machine or the modem can have its own extension number so you can send and receive faxes or data while making calls.

Auto Attendant - 24-Hour Receptionist

With the DCS 24 Auto Attendant option, you can be sure that the incoming calls are never on hold for long. The Auto Attendant can answer multiple calls simultaneously and provide individualised greetings. External callers are prompted by the Auto Attendant to directly dial the extension number of the person, and thus bypassing the operator. If no extension is dialed within a specified time, the call will be automatically connected to the operator or another extension. The Auto Attendant can either work independently or together with a voice processing system.

Call Management - Comprehensive Telephone Management Facilities

The DCS 24 system provides a variety of comprehensive data for management purposes, including cost reports and detailed reports of both incoming and outgoing calls. The system can also be programmed to restrict certain types of calls (for example, international or premium rate numbers) to help eliminate any abuse of the telephone system. And with the comprehensive cost saving function, the DCS ensures that all calls are made at the most economic rate.

Up to 12 ports are available on the DCS 12, with ISDN connectivity for faster, smoother access to on-line services such as email and the Internet and features such as Caller ID display (CLI) and direct dialling (DDI) to an individual extension. Operator and group working can also ensure all calls are handlled efficiently within your organisation.

In addition, trunk to trunk transfer and call diverts alloe calls to be seamlessly forwarded to external destinations such as a mobile phone, domestic number or even another office.

The DC 12 is available with a wide range of stylish and practical handsets from simple analogue fully featured digital phones with LCD display and programmable functions to meet the individual needs of each user.

For a cost effective investment the DCS 12 is a flexible, modular system that keeps cost downs, as you only need to purchase the solution that your organisation needs. Additional handsets or devices can then be easily added, so as your needs grow so can the DCS 12.

In addition, Least Cost Routing (LCR) allows you to control ongoing call costs by automatically selecting the cheapest courier for each outbound call from your selected list of suppliers.
