POE Support

As standard, the V95NEC is supplied as both a POE and DC powered terminal (with DC powerpack available as an option).  With full 802.3af compliance, the V95NEC can be powered over Ethernet by any standards based POE switch or power injector.

Centralised configuration and management

The V95NEC terminal can download a configuration file from an HTTP server that will prompt it to upgrade its firmware file.  A DHCP server is used to assign an IP address to the V95 phone and inform the V95 of the HTTP address of the configuration file.

As a member of the Dterm IP family, the INASET product line provides a full set of features one would expect from an enterprise terminal: call forwarding, transferring, redialing, speed dialing, conference calling, full duplex hands-free mode and voice mail access.

Additional value of the INASET is achieved through the business applications delivered to the desktop, an integration that is not possible with regular TDM or IP terminals.

NEC also makes available a SDK (Software Development Kit), which provides third party developers with the tools necessary to create IP telephony applications for the INASET.

Dterm IP

Phones bring the application and cost benefits of IP telephony to your desktop, with a complete complement of call handling and convergence capabilities. There are several distinct models to meet diverse needs. Dterm IP phones support 802.3af Power Over Ethernet (POE), and can be fitted with back-up PSTN circuits to provide call capabilities during carrier-related network failure.

As well as the host of features included as standard in Dterm Series i terminals, optional accessories can give you further capabilities, including analogue port adapters, call recording ability and 60-button extension consoles for the busiest reception environments.
