TELSTRA has elevated one of its executives to group managing director of the telelcommunnications giant's wholesale business.
Nerida Caesar will take the job from Kate McKenzie, who is moving on to become group managing director of strategic marketing.Ms McKenzie was appointed to group managing director, strategic marketing last week, after Telstra's last amigo Bill Stewart announced his departure back to his native US.
Ms Caesar, who is currently executive director of national sales at Telstra's enterprise and government division, assumes her new role on March 30.
"Nerida's promotion to group managing director of Telstra wholesale is a natural progression for someone who has displayed leadership and vision while consistently delivering results in her sales role with Telstra's biggest customers," chief executive Sol Trujillo said in a statement on Thursday.
Ms Caesar joined Telstra in 2006 as executive director of customer management teams.
She previously spent 20 years at IBM.
